Eric H. Wietsma, FSA, MAAA, is a Senior Vice President of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company. Eric joined MassMutual Retirement Services in 2005 as Vice President of Investment Services. Eric has over 20 years of Financial Services experience. His responsibilities include leading a growing investment organization responsible for two stand-alone mutual fund trusts with over 85 funds and $25 billion in assets, as well as investment strategy, research, due diligence, investment reporting, product development, IRA participant strategy and treasury operations. He currently serves as the president of both the Premier and Select Funds. Previously, Eric managed the Public Retirement Plan business at The Hartford. Prior to The Hartford, he was at CIGNA where he was responsible for a number of actuarial pricing functions. He is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries, member of the American Academy of Actuaries and holds the Series 7 and 24 FINRA designations. Eric received his B.S. from Calvin College and his Master’s Degree from Purdue University.
