Janis Robinson joined the Alzheimer’s Association in 2008. As the Director of Corporate Initiatives and before becoming the Director of Diversity and Strategic Collaborations. Janis is responsible for increasing awareness about Alzheimer’s in all communities and by increasing corporate outreach. Prior to joining the Alzheimer’s Association, Janis was both an Insurance Broker at Willis and a Corporate Development officer at Mercer Human Resources Consulting where she brokered insurance benefits for employees and managed human resources consulting projects. Janis was previously the Director of Diversity at Aon, where her responsibilities included developing the Diversity Initiative for Aon, overseeing affirmative action planning, diversity training, recruiting and supplier diversity. Janis has also held various positions working for the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, Alliance of Business Leaders & Entrepreneurs, LT Helmets and Barnard College Columbia University. Janis received her MBA in Marketing from the Krannert Graduate School of Business, Purdue University and her BA in Urban Studies and Economics, from Barnard College Columbia University. Janis is also an alumna from Leadership Greater Chicago, and a member of various not-for-profit boards and organizations in the Chicago Metropolitan community.
