Lorence (“Lory”) H. Merritt is a Managing Director with Sheridan Road and focuses on providing investment and wealth management services to individuals and high net worth families. Lory provides highly personalized financial advice, financial planning, portfolio construction and estate planning services to our clients. Prior to joining Sheridan Road, Lory spent 25 years in the financial services industry, focusing on individual planning services. Lory is a Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter, as well as a registered representative and financial planner for Sheridan Road’s broker dealer, LPL Financial. Lory received his B.A. from the University of Illinois. He is an active fundraiser for cancer research and patient care and resides in Highland Park, IL. Lory is FINRA Series 7, 26 and 65 licensed as well as his life and health insurance licenses. Lory has a vast network of estate planning attorneys, accountants and consultants he works with to provide holistic advice to our clients.
